Lists of the different commands available in Windows NT Command Prompt console: Note the list of available commands (And explanation of these) can also be found in the Windows Help:
hh.exe ms-its:%WINDIR%\Help\windows.chm::/ntcmds.htm
Note there are two command shells in WinNT:
  • Cmd.exe : The native shell and provides the most features.
  • Command.com : MS-DOS emulator that runs within NTVDM.EXE (Mostly useful for very old text-based DOS programs)
