Note one can also use these folder names to create a cascading menu on the Start Menu.

Note one can open the folders directly from the Start Menu, by putting "shell:::" in front. This will open My Computer:

shell:::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

Related Access special folders easily using the shell command

    Hi there!

    A very interesting idea, to "Create special folders where you want them". However, what do you actually DO with these strange-looking commands? In other words, what do I actually DO with
    "My Computer.{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}"

    and what will happen then?

    Thanks for your support!

  2. Rob says:

    You have to create a New Folder and rename it with the "strange-look commands" listed.
