Windows 98 Resource Kit

The Windows 98 Resource Kit contains a lot of useful tools, which also can be found on the Win98 install cd (X:\Tools\Reskit). They also work for Win95 and WinMe

Some of the more exciting tools:

• Bootedit.exe (Makes it easy to configure MSDOS.SYS)
• Poledit.exe (Provides easy access to hidden registry settings)
• Sredit.exe (Helps configuring Scanreg.ini)

Note to download the utilities from the Microsoft’s FTP, then one have to configure the FTP client not to use passive mode.
