    Can anyone tell me if this can be done? I want to perform a procedure that will copy(mirror) a folder to a networked computer when the local computer to told to shutdown.

    I need to work on these files (various times of the day) and the computer is not always turned on. Leaving it on is not an option. There is a computer networked to this one that must stay on all the time.

    I hope someone can tell me how to do this.. running out of options..

    Thanks,

    Mark

    Maybe Karen’s Show Stopper can help ya:

    Or maybe you could specify a shutdown script:

    GPEDIT.MSC -> Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Scripts (Startup & shutdown)
