Hi we are having a network of 13 pc’s connected to 1 server, but for data storage we have allocated 3 Pc’s from the 13. And when users try to access their data from one of these 3 data locations they get this error ” no more connections to this pc as there are already too many connections”. And just to clear the concept a bit more we would like to add that at any given point of time there are no more than 10 users connecting to any 1 of these 3 data locations.

So pls suggest or provide the solution ASAP. Any kind of support is Appreciated in advance.

thanks very much “snakefoot” we tried the options from the link that you suggested but when i check the ‘net config server’ command info we only see that the max number of logged users is 10. and we are running win xp prof version on the data pc’s. so the problem still remains.

Where is the server located? Intranet/Internet.

Do you have access to server configurations? If yes, can you see if there is any configuration set for concurrent connection limit.
