dekkerlaura88 on "How to open ZIP Archive without password"

Where to get ZIP password?

I just downloaded Star wars rogue squadron pc full by sniper using rapid share but the damned thing requires a password to unpack zip password. Why would anyone upload something for popular to download and put a password and not let anyone know it? Anyone who know a way around this, the password, or how to open zip password or where to get the password?

Zip is a file format used for data compression and archiving. A zip file contains one or more files that have been compressed, to reduce file size, or stored as is. The zip file format permits a number of compression algorithms.
Here there are three ways for you to open ZIP Archive without knowing password.

1 Brute force attack: Just like you can force a lock open you can also force a zip file open. In this way you try out every single possibility the password could be. Don’t worry you don ‘t have to do this manually, there are many programs out there that can brute-force the file. This technique just lets your computer go trough every single possibility. For example a program which can do this is ZIP Password recovery 5.0. This however is licensed software so you need to pay for it. Just Google for “ZIP Password recovery 5.0” and you will find plenty.

2 Brute-force with Attack: In the field of decryption, mask is a commonly used term refers to the password features you still remember. For example, the possible password length, any digits, letters, special characters like pond, dollar, or asterisk in the password; what is the fist and last characters of the password, etc. You can use this attack if you still remember part of your password. For example, if you still remember your password is 4 characters and begins with “z”, then you can define the mask as “z???”. Thus reduces the detecting scale for the program, as it will only seek for the last 3 characters instead of 4 characters of the whole.

3 Use a Dictionary attack: This type attack is similar to the brute force attack but it takes less time but has a chance of failure. The dictionary attack basically just uses a pre-defined word-list to try and crack the file. Since this has a chance of failure and doesn’t save all that much compared to a brute force attack its best to just use the brute force attack.

Today I will show you the way of “Brute-force Attack” step-by-step:

Step 1: Click “Open” to open the target Zip file with the program.

Select your file in the Open File window and click “Open”.
Step 2: On the “Recovery” tab, select “Brute-force Attack (Trying All Possible Combinations)”.
Step 3: Click “Start” button in the Menu to initiate the program.

Step 4: The program is processing for the password. Sometime later, a message box pops up to you, displaying the expected password. Click “OK”.

Hack Yahoo password? Some people may misunderstand the meaning of “hack” here. Here we do not mean we can help you hack into others’ yahoo mail accounts with a certain tool. We all know that it is illegal. But we have to admit that there are such disgusting people around us. They get other people’s private information with nasty means online intentionally. What we would discuss here is to help you hack your own Yahoo password which has been saved on your IE [Internet Explorer] browser already.

New versions of IE browser can help users save the passwords of websites or Email accounts which they have visited. This does bring us lots of convenience. Since 1999, Internet Explorer has been the most widely used web browser. It is precisely because of this, many people are used to making IE browser remember their passwords instead of taking notes by pen and paper in case of passwords loss.

Internet Explorer can not always be so omnipotent. If you upgrade your IE version, clear your IE cache or a virus attacks your web browser etc., IE may not be able to remember your passwords. Even in some cases, for example, you have to login into one of your business Yahoo email accounts on another computer, but you never spend time remembering its password and answers for its security question, all the information you filled when registering was random. I bet such an awkward trouble could almost get you mad.

But here today I promise you there is way to hack yahoo password and to make it display within your sight. And it’s very easy. Now let’s learn how to hack yahoo password together.

Now I am ready to recommend you a very good yahoo password hacker [Internet Explorer Password Recovery 5.0]. I suppose here you cannot remember your yahoo password or the answers of security questions. Otherwise you do not have the need to hack your password by this tool.

First of all, free download this Internet Explorer Password Recovery 5.0 and the install it properly in your PC.

To begin with, Press “Start Recovery” button and select “Recover IE Password”

IE password recovery

Finally, the window will display a list of Website URL, Username and Password. You then can easily find your yahoo username and password there.

Until now, you have successfully got your forgotten yahoo password back by a yahoo password hack. Isn’t very easy? Only a few clicks of buttons can make it. But here I have a small tip. Keep a good habit of recording all your accounts with passwords in a document, in case of sudden memory loss or other accidents.

Since you are using IP address, then Netbios has nothing to do with it. The problem is that you have to open your firewall to anyone on the Internet to access your computer.

Usually this is not wanted, so instead one uses applications like DropBox to share files with other people. Alternative you can setup a WebDAV or a FTP site, on your computer and then configure your internet router to perform proper port forwarding.

Setting a password for your Windows log-on might be a good idea if you have multiple users on a single computer. So that you will never worry about your documents and privacy data spied. But the chances are that you forgot your password, or the password expired, those kinds of conditions may be a disaster for you in the past. That means you may need to reinstall the system and lose some data. However, it is just a piece of cake if you follow the steps below on how to remove Windows Vista password.

Using system restore feature.

There may be the following scenarios in which you unable to access to Windows:

Scenario 1: You forgot the password when you recently set a new administrator password.
Scenario 2: You type the correct logon password, but the system does not accept it because of corruption.
Scenario 3: You delete a protected administrator account. Now, you can’t log on to another administrator account.
Scenario 4: You change a protected administrator account to a standard user account. Now, you can’t access to another administrator account.

You can use Vista System Restore feature to log on to Windows Vista. Follow these steps to remove Windows Vista Password。

Step 1: Insert the Windows Vista DVD, and then restart the computer.
Step 2: Press any key when you receive the message "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD".
Step 3: Specify the preferences for "Language to install", "Time and currency format", "Keyboard or input method".
Step 4: Click "Repair your computer", and select the operating system, and then click "Next".
Step 5: Click "System Restore" and then click "Next".
Step 6: Click the restore point that you want to use, and then click "Next".
Step 7: Specify the disks you want to restore and click "Next".
Step 8: Click "Finish" and then click "Yes".
Step 9: when the system Restore process is completed, restart the computer by clicking "Restart".
Step 10: After you access to the system, go to the "Control Pane" to reset or remove Vista password.

Using Windows Vista Password remover

Frankly speaking, the way I recommend above is not widely used for the Vista users because that requires some basic computer knowledge. What’s more, after you use the System Restore feature, reinstall any programs or updates that may be removed. You will not lose any personal documents. However, you may have to reinstall programs. You may also have to reset some personal settings.
Therefore, the best way to remove Vista password is using Vista Password Removing software. Read the following steps to learn how to operate it.

Step 1: Here we need another computer to burn password reset disk. Insert a blank CD on this PC, and launch Vista Password Cracker.
Step 2: Select "reset Windows local account password", and tick "CD/DVD" and choose your target device.
Step 3: Click "burn" to start burning Windows Vista password reset disk.

Step 4: With CD, boot the computer for which you lost the log-in password. And then choose the system you would like to reset password.
Step 5: Highlight the target account, and click "Reset". According to the wizard, reset the password. The last step you need to do is to reboot your PC to finish the reset.

I highly recommend you choose method 2 to remove Windows Vista password. Even though you forget Windows Vista password and are completely locked out of your Vista computer, you can easily and safely remove the forgotten Vista password and log on your computer again. Good Luck!

ERROR MESSAGE 80070002

I have windows 7 professional x64 and have a terrible time downloading, much less installing updates error messgae 80070002

I sometimes have success by deleting the Software Distribution folder in C:\Windows and then rebooting and then setting my computer to auto install at the next closest hour

When I was checking Component Services to see what might be running that didn’t need to be and vis-versa, I found that in trying to start mcx2svc, I found the same error message and found that it had strange dependencies for being the tv extender for WMP.

Any ideas???

I have read, saved and tried about 20 different fixes. Oh, I have never been able to access anything manually from microsoft since buying W7

Thanks, MF

It is probably using the resolution for the TV on your laptop screen. There is probably a smart feature on the laptop to properly switch between outputs (TV, LapTop, Monitor, Projector, etc.).

The work around is to right-click the Desktop and change the Display Properties, so Resolution, DPI, Colors matches the laptop screen (Display Properties can also be accessed through the Control Panel).

Dear Sir/Madame.

I have a laptop with Win. XP Pro. installed. It was used to play a video on the TV and as it was unplugged the Icons in the Start Manager and Text on the Desktop became that small that it can not be read. The folders on the Desktop remained the right size.
Also the buttons top right, Minimize, Restore Down and Close are that small that they only appear as a little dot but do still work.
Has looked every where but without luck.
Any help will be greatly appriciated.

I think you should take the Event Log errors one at the time.

This recommends that you increase the Readyboot log file to make the error you mentioned go away:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\WMI\Autologger\ReadyBoot]
MaxFileSize = 60

Howdy all,

System: Pentium dual-core CPU T4400 2.2GHz processors, 4GB RAM, 64-Bit, Windows Home Premium edition, Dell Inspiron 1750 laptop.

This computer is taking well over a minute to boot up and the time seems to be getting longer and longer. Steps taken recently include spyware/adware/malware scans (1 file quarantined), typical defrag, disk cleanup but nothing seems to affect the time. Event Viewer is logging several errors on the Kernel event area and reads:

Filename: C:\Windows\Prefetch\ReadyBoot\ReadyBoot.etl
Error Code: 3221225864

Would this slow down the boot process and, if so, anyone have a clue how to rectify this? Thanks for your time.

Last week I purchased a package with contains the original OEM Windows License label with Product Key. Windows Svr Std 2003 R2 1-4 CPU 5Clt OEM Software. I could not use the original medium, that was too damaged but I obtained an ISO of this same version.

Installed the software on a DIY Server with succes, updated the Server 2003 R2 with all the servicepacks but I just cannot seem to activate the product over the internet. It said "Product Key Not Valid".

A friend said that I should not count on MS to help out since I have not purchased a OEM Server from HP or Dell with an Product Key Label. Instead I assembled the server myself from separate pieces of hardware and and got hold of an OEM Server 2003 package.

What are my chances that MS will help.
