Windows Mail can perform spellchecking, and it is possible to add new words to the dictionary used. If having added a misspelled word to the custom dictionary, then it can be removed like this:
- Open the following file in notepad:
%USERPROFILE%\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\UserDictionary.lex
- Find the word that have been spelled wrong and remove it. Make sure not to leave any blank lines.
- Save and close notepad.
The spell checker should now recognize the word as being misspelled again.

Press the Start-button and run the following the command using "Start Search..."
Else do a file search for the file "UserDictionary.lex"
I cannot open .lex files.
It worked great for me, I have had a problem with one word for 5 years and deiced to google how to fix it, this is great, no more will I send emails with i instead of I. Don't know why I ever mistakenly added i in the add box, thanks again.
